F.W. Boatwright Society Luncheon + Modlin Experience The University of Richmond is proud to honor members of the F.W. Boatwright Society, alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago, with a special on-campus experience at the Modlin Center for the Arts. You are invited to join us for a luncheon, followed by an exclusive dress rehearsal of Shadow Cities, just hours before the evening performance. This electrifying new work is a collaboration between acclaimed choreographer Ephrat Asherie and Grammy award-winning composer Arturo O’Farrill. Blending street and club dance styles with O’Farrill’s signature Latin jazz sound, Shadow Cities explores the dynamic energy and complexity of identities formed in the spaces between cultures, cities, and generations. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience artistry in an intimate and meaningful way!Friday, January 23 Luncheon begins at 12:30 p.m., followed by Shadow Cities rehearsal at 2 p.m.Modlin Center for the Arts453 Westhampton WayUniversity of Richmond, Virginia 23173$15 per person includes luncheon and dance rehearsal access
