Thursday October 05
7:45 AM - 9:00 AM
Join fellow Richmond-area alumni for a complimentary breakfast and presentation from Assistant Professor of Leadership Studies, Jessica Flanigan. Dr. Jessica Flanigan's research addresses topics such as medical paternalism, economic freedom, leadership ethics, and public health ethics. Her new book, "Pharmaceutical Freedom: Why Patients Have a Right to Self Medicate", defends patients' rights to use drugs with prescriptions and to use non-FDA approved drugs. The seminar will provide a broader perspective on her research, and explore the implications on society today.
