Mission
URAA seeks to enhance engagement of alumni with the University, its students, and fellow alumni to sustain the university's legacy of excellence and spirit of community for generations to come.
Vision
For alumni, of all generations, to be active members of an inclusive and interconnected community of lifelong Spiders.
Overall, alumni will be encouraged to share time, talent, and resources, by attending events, hiring, and providing career connections, and sharing experiences with other spiders.
Goals
- Grow and enhance our Spider Network and University programs to link alumni with current students and fellow alumni for mentoring, internships, and professional opportunities.
- Support and promote opportunities for alumni worldwide to engage in the life of the university through attendance at virtual, regional, and campus events.
- Actively serve and lead through involvement and support of university programs and events.
- Increase alumni giving to sustain and enhance educational excellence for generations to come.
- Advocate on behalf of the university to increase awareness and assist in the recruitment of prospective students across the country and abroad.
- Cultivate, encourage, and celebrate the interconnectivity among alumni and the university through all avenues of print and social media communications.
