We celebrate student successes all year long, but April is particularly special for us because we have the opportunity to see first-hand our students’ creative projects from the School of Arts & Sciences — some of which they’ve been developing throughout their four years on campus.

This year’s Student Symposium was the 34th in Richmond’s history, and the scholarly work completed alongside faculty advisors makes us proud to hail from a liberal arts institution that is so strongly dedicated to undergraduate research.

“We are committed to supporting the professional and psychosocial development of our students by providing them opportunities to pursue projects which further reflection, creativity, and the production of knowledge,” A&S Dean Patrice Rankine said.

Our Spiders are even more prepared to tackle the world after completing this journey — and we can’t wait to see where their discoveries take them next!
