Join us on Thursday, December 14 for a series of events that will offer a deep dive into the transformative power of generative AI and its potential to reshape academic scholarship. The series kicks off with an “Introduction to Generative AI” which is ideal for newcomers as a way to prepare for the subsequent sessions. If you’re already familiar with these tools, you can skip the introduction and head directly to the sessions on using Generative AI in writing, research, and other tasks. 

We invite you to choose the sessions that match your needs the most: 

9:00 to 10:15 a.m. Introduction to Generative AI

  • Dive into the world of generative AI with an introductory session designed for both beginners and those seeking a refresher. Understand the basics of AI's capabilities and its emerging role in the academic landscape.

10:30 to 11:20 a.m. Finding a Role for Generative AI in Your Writing Workflow

  • Explore how generative AI can become a pivotal part of your writing process, enhancing creativity and efficiency. Learn to leverage AI for drafting, editing, and refining your academic manuscripts.

11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. Supercharge Your Research With a Hundred Research Assistants (Lunch Provided)

  • Experience the efficiency of employing generative AI as if you had an army of research assistants at your disposal. This session will show you how to accelerate literature reviews and data analysis, complete with a lunch break to network and discuss insights.

12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Hands On Workshop for Matching Generative AI Tools with Your Specific Needs

  • Conclude the workshop with a practical hand's on workshop to help you identify the right AI tools that fit your unique research needs. Personalize your academic toolkit with AI technologies that can elevate your research productivity to new levels.
