Congratulations on making it to exam week! Now that we are nearing the end of the semester, it's a good time to see if any of our end-of-semester events could help you either relax or connect during this busy time, or help you feel more prepared for the next academic year in general. If you have plans to tackle any scholarship this summer, our Going Public Day on Wednesday, May 6, could help you imagine new audiences for your scholarship. Throughout the day, speakers will share ways of bringing academic ideas into broader conversations. See the full schedule below.

Program Spotlight: Housing, Health, and Participatory Action Research
The Faculty Hub, CCE, and Department of Psychology are pleased to present a two-part faculty development event featuring public health researcher and professor Dr. Erin Bradley on Monday, May 4, 2026. From 1:30–2:30 p.m., Dr. Bradley will explore how community-engaged research can offer new ways of understanding the structural factors that shape health outcomes, drawing on her own work on the connections between housing and health. From 3:00–4:30 p.m., an interactive workshop will provide hands-on opportunities to apply participatory action research (PAR) principles to your own research and courses through case studies and proposal design. Space is limited to 30 participants.
