The IP3 program pairs students and faculty (or instructional staff) together for a semester-long partnership focused on the implementation of principles of inclusive pedagogy.

Exploring Generative AI: A Faculty Showcase and Discussion

The Faculty Hub is hosting a special Faculty Showcase and Discussion on Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 12 to 1:15 p.m. highlighting Gen AI experiments taking place across campus. This event offers faculty and instructional staff an opportunity to present, learn, and engage with one another’s experiences using Gen AI in teaching and learning. If you’re interested in sharing, please consider preparing a brief 5-10 minute presentation or a one-page summary that highlights how you’ve integrated (or intentionally not integrated) Gen AI into your courses. Join the Faculty Hub for Rethinking Assessments: Fresh Approaches for Today’s Classroom on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. - a morning devoted to reevaluating and reenvisioning the assessment strategy for one or more of your courses. Documenting the Rigor and Impact of Non-Traditional Scholarly Work with Derek Miller and Maia Linask

UR teacher-scholars are invited to join a conversation on strategies for documenting the rigor and excellence of their community-engaged and/or public scholarship. The authors will share some strategies laid out in a recent CCE publication but hope to learn from their colleagues. We invite all faculty and staff who are past participants in the Inclusive Pedagogy Cohort to join the Faculty Hub for an IP Cohort Reunion Lunch on Thursday, December 12, from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Faculty Hub. We’ll use this time to reconnect with past cohort members, share new practices, and meet colleagues from across campus who are also interested in inclusive pedagogy. Lunch will be provided.
