Thank Your Future Self
Once classes are over, it’s easy to move on to our next projects without reflecting on what we’ve learned from our teaching, what we’d like to do differently next time, and how we can record our successes for future reviews. In this session, we’ll do all of these things together to make sure that you end your semester in a way that will benefit your future self. You can join us in person or online on Thursday, May 9, from 9 to 10 a.m. Register here.

Navigating the Student-Mentor Relationship
Faculty members at UR often serve as mentors to students outside the classroom, either as employers, co-researchers, internship supervisors, or travel partners. What changes when we leave the classroom? How do we communicate expectations, set boundaries, and establish trust with our mentees? We’ve invited experienced mentors from across campus to start this conversation on Thursday, May 9, from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Lunch is included. Sign up here.
