Join us on Thursday, December 14 for a series of events that will offer a deep dive into the transformative power of generative AI and its potential to reshape academic scholarship. The series kicks off with an “Introduction to Generative AI” which is ideal for newcomers as a way to prepare for the subsequent sessions. Mid-Career Faculty Development
The Provost’s Office will offer the third annual Mid-Career Faculty Summit on Wednesday, December 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Summit is a one-day event for associate professors to explore their unique challenges and opportunities and how to enhance their ability to navigate career progression in a supportive and collegial environment.
Participation in the Summit will help mid-career faculty establish a strong foundation to be able to:
- communicate career strengths and areas for growth,
- articulate professional contribution,
- identify needs and sources of support necessary to advance professional (and personal) goals,
- begin to design short- and long-term goals, with corresponding action steps, and
- contribute in meaningful ways to professional advancement
Associate professors from all five schools who are not currently undergoing evaluation for promotion are invited. Please register below and contact Linda Boland, Associate Provost for Faculty, with any questions about the Summit.
